Caught
at Furnace Lakes in the margins, Angela had a good fight
through some reeds for about 20 mins where she lost
3 earlier but patience prevailed, rewarding her with
a nice 24lb 4oz Common. |

at Furnace Lakes in the same session as his wife Angela
on 23rd of august at about 7.30am. Tony had nothing
all night and changed to a pop up boillie with an excellent
result, tipping the scales at 30lb. |

Carp, weighing in at a massive 23lb. After a long fight,

October
5th 06 saw Dan Winstons Red Letter Day at Bury Hill
pay dividends. Both he and his Dad had an 8hr predator
session which saw him land 15 zander that included 2
doubles, one his PB of 10lb 4oz. Dan lost several more
on the day and is definitely lucky to have landed so
many as the norm for zander is usually 2 or 3. To have
caught 15 is amazing one of them being a double is not
often seen. Altogether, 87.25lb of zander was caught
on the day. A brilliant days fishing. |
