This years Committee match
took place on Sunday 3rd June at Puddledock Farm fisheries.
Much the same as last year, the weather
played an important part and each of the nine contestants
were
finding it a little slow in the early hours.
As the day wore on, the fish started to
show and overall there were some good catches. Once again,
a mixture of baits were used with varying
degrees of success with pellets, corn and maggots favourite
on the day.
Although the weights were a little down
on last years match, the winner,
Tony Bee repeated his performance and
won the Basil Goody trophy for the 2nd time.
