This years committee match was held on Sunday, 10th July at Puddledock Farm Fisheries. Fishing on Road Lake was from 9am to 4pm with 9 members of the K.P.A.C.committee taking part. Having fuelled up before the off with Egg & Bacon rolls and several cups of tea, everyone waited for the whistle of Derek Grimes. No sooner said than done, Tony Bee was immediately into the fish and apart from losing 8 feeders to the island, had a tremendous days fishing, amassing 55lb 15oz at the weigh-in. The rest of the field tried to catch him throughout the day, but cries of "too hot", "not the right bait" and "wrong end of the lake" were soon heard from all around. An excellent days fishing with almost 167lb of fish being caught to a variety of baits which included pellets, sweetcorn, maggots and luncheon meat.
